We are always looking for volunteers. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer now or in the future, please fill out the form below under "Volunteer" and we will contact you when an opportunity arises. At the Office Manager's discretion, memberships may be awarded to anyone who volunteers with the HRAA.

Derby will be open Saturday 9am-9pm
and Sunday 9am-12pm.
Prizes will be given out at 1pm on Sunday.
(Please pick up your registration packet at the HRAA Building between
9am-9pm on Saturday and 9am-11am on Sunday)

Registration is $20/family for the weekend.

Rules:
Arrive at the Conservation Center to pick up your Fishing Derby Registration Packet.
Fish must be caught in the Hammond River Watershed.
Take a photo of your catch with the provided "Derby ruler". Upload your pictures with your name and age onto the 3rd Annual HRAA Family Fishing Derby Facebook Event Page or email them to info@hraa.ca.
Pictures without the Derby ruler will be disqualified.
Release your catch!

Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded for the most species caught & released, and largest overall fish, in the following categories:
Children (0-10)
Youth (11-20)
Adult (21-59)
Senior (60+)
GRAND DOOR PRIZE:
Each Family registered will have a ballot entered into the draw to win the Grand Door Prize- A Boating Adventure with Uber Rob from "It's ABOAT Time River Adventures"
"My name is Rob Dekany. You may know me as Uber Rob, a nickname given to me by the residents of Darlings Island when I taxied them by boat during the flooding several years ago. I'm now offering boat tours, fishing and tubing adventures... It's ABOUT time!"
You and up to 3 friends (or 5 people total if children are joining) can join Rob Dekany in his boat for a 4-5 hour adventure on the water to enjoy fishing, tubing or even just a scenic cruise. All equipment will be provided by Rob.
You can choose one of the packages below:
1) Tubing Adventure
3-4 hours - $400 value
Enjoy an exhilarating adventure at Meenan's Cove on a
tubing excursion with your friends.
Up to 3 people can ride together on the tube!
1-4 people (or up to 5 if children are included).
*Option to tie off to a buoy and swim.
2) Fishing Adventure
4-5 hours - $500 value
All ages - from beginners to experts.
4-5 hour fishing package for 1-4 people
(or up to 5 if children are included).
Provided: Rods, bait, sunscreen, life jackets,
drinks (non-alcoholic) & snacks.
3) Scenic Boat Tour Adventure
4-5 hours - $500 value
Enjoy a tour of the Hampton Marsh, all the way to
Reversing Falls and back.
You may see harbour seals, porpoises, eagles,
osprey, herons and other wildlife.
1-4 people (or up to 5 if children are included).
