The Hammond River Management Plan will guide management activity in the watershed for the next 5-10 years.  It prioritized sub-catchment areas within the watershed by evaluating water quality, fish & benthic macro-invertebrate health, environmental conditions, and development pressure.  This evaluation found the Palmer Brook, Nauwigewauk, Markhamville,  and Hanford areas to be the most vulnerable.
