April 8th, 2022 - Angling is closed until May 1st

Fishing Season is almost here!

Just a friendly reminder that the lower portion of the Hammond River, from the CN Railway Bridge to French Village Bridge, is CLOSED TO ANGLING until May 1st.

These regulations are in place to help protect kelt/black salmon as they begin their migratory journey. There are still many wonderful areas for early spring fishing above the French Village Bridge, so get out and explore!
