June 20th, 2022 - Emerald Ash Borers

We've got our Emerald Ash Borer Prism traps set up in two locations in the Hammond River watershed! While we did not detect any Emerald Ash Borers last year, it's best to err on the side of caution and continue to work with the New Brunswick Invasive Species Council and keep these traps up each year! These nasty invasive borers have destroyed ash trees in Fredericton, Oromocto, Edmunston, and Moncton, so be on the lookout, and contact the New Brunswick Invasive Species Council if you suspect you have Emerald Ash Borers on your property!
