Meet The Team
I am a Mom to 3 amazing kids and a wife to an awesome husband too. I have been a member for many years (probably my whole life actually). The Hammond holds a special place in my heart. I have many fond memories of fishing in the Hammond with my siblings and now with my own children.
Since joining the HRAA in 1991, I have served the association in several capacities, including newsletter editor, Membership Committee chair, Maintenance Committee, Audit Committee, Dinner & Auction Co-Chair, Board member, Treasurer and President.
I am a nature enthusiast, who loves fishing, hiking, and exploring.
When not in the office, I can be found outside exploring with my 2 young boys!
I love this job and look forward to many more projects in the near future!
I joined the HRAA team in 2017, working as an environmental technician during the summers. I graduated with a BSc in Biology and minor in Earth Science at STFX this year and I'm aiming to apply what I have learned to continue helping the HRAA with its conservation, education and restoration work.
Camp Director / Educational Outreach
I have the opportunity to work as the Camp Director and to learn more about the Hammond River and what it means to different people. I am very happy that I am part of a team and an organization that is committed to protect the Hammond River.
