August 4th, 2021 - Upham Gypsum Mine Monitoring

Every month, and after every heavy rain fall event, our awesome field crew sample 3 watercourses that surround the Upham Gypsum Mine.

Samples are taken from the watercourse north, east, and south of the mine, to determine levels of turbidity, suspended solids, conductivity, and overall quality.

We have recently become aware of illegal dumping happening in one of these watercourses that we monitor near the gypsum mine, and we will be addressing this issue on August 6th! This couch was dumped into the outflow of Drummond's Lake- want to meet our awesome staff?! Come join us on August 6th at noon on Cross Road in Upham!
