Annual Volunteer Redd Count

Redd counts (salmon nesting areas) are done by walking stretches of the Hammond and its tributaries looking for depressions in the cobble. We generally rely on numerous volunteer counters, led by trained HRAA staff in September of each year. Chili supper to follow at the Conservation Center. Free Fly-tying at the Conservation Center every Thursday evening at 6pm. All levels of skills welcome.
