Redd counts (salmon nesting areas) are done by walking stretches of the Hammond and its tributaries looking for depressions in the cobble. We generally rely on numerous volunteer counters, led by trained HRAA staff in September of each year.  Chili supper to follow at the Conservation Center. For dates, more info or to sign up to volunteer, please click the button below and send us a message!
