Hammond River Nature Camp welcomes volunteers entering Grade 8 and older as Counsellors-in-Training (CITs). First time CIT's are only able to work Munchkin Week, however all other CIT's must work a minimum of 3 weeks.

Being a CIT is a great opportunity to gain experience in recreation, education, natural sciences and to develop a great work ethic.

CITs act as assistants to counsellors, helping to supervise children in all camp activities (kayaking, swimming, paddle boarding, fishing, science, and sports, field games etc.).  These are positions requiring the student’s commitment and responsibility. The safety of campers, CITs and staff is our top priority.

Applications open March 1st and are due May 31st
