Riverkeepers Lessons
HRAA’s Riverkeepers Educational Units offer hands-on lessons that connect participants with local ecosystems, conservation, and sustainable practices. From monitoring water quality and tagging smallmouth bass to raising juvenile Atlantic salmon and exploring the role of wetlands, these programs provide interactive learning experiences. Students might build bird habitats, tie fishing flies, or plant trees to understand carbon capture, all while gaining a deeper appreciation for New Brunswick’s natural resources.
